Kindness is Action Challenge
If we look at the history of human existence, as a gross generalization, we have fallen prey to the archaic beliefs that one must “survive,” or the old adage “every man (or woman) for themselves,” forgetting to look out at the world around us. We get so caught up in our own lives that we may not even see our fellow humans suffering or in need of a hand, or simply a warm smile.
How often do we see a person suffering from homelessness and just walk by without the slightest acknowledgement? Or feel sadness for them yet do nothing? How often do we sit idly by as another goes hungry? How often have you seen someone having a hard day and think to yourself, “I’m glad that’s not me,” yet do nothing. Have we lost our sense of empathy? Our sense of kindness? I don’t believe so. Rather, I think we have simply lost our belief that we are capable of making an impact, especially by way of small acts of kindness. How often has your day been turned around by a friendly “hello,” or a kind act? And it is that one bit of momentary kindness that creates a ripple effect of chance in ones day and ultimately ones life. There are those that have never felt the power of being and feeling cared for. You may be the person that gives that gift to someone for the first time in their life.
This is why TNH has put together our month long Kindness in Action Challenge to remind people of the importance of kindness, focusing outward, and lending a helping hand. For the month of September we are challenging you to join us in paying it forward and making a difference in this world, one small act of kindness at a time. Imagine if just 1000 people joined in, in doing one act of kindness per day, and those 1000 people inspired just 10 people each, thats 10,000 people! And those 10,000 then inspire 10 each, that’s 100,000 people! And the ripple effects of change will continue on, literally making this world a kinder place. So please join us this September and spread the word so you too can make a difference in someones life today, and be the change you would like to see in the world.
In order to participate please share on your social media account/s Instagram and Facebook, what kind act you performed with the hashtag #TNHKindnessInAction for all 30 days and you will be eligible to win a prize as a thank you for your kindness! It can be as simple as putting change in someones meter, or as impactful as feeding those that may be impoverished and or giving to those in need. Established in 2013 TNH Get My Body Back Challenge was created to help you accomplish your health and wellness goals by putting your money where your goals are! When you achieve your goal, your charity of choice wins!
This program was designed for both men and women, in the spirit of supporting you in optimizing and achieving a health and/or fitness goal that is important to you. We would be happy to welcome you to the 6th Annual TNH Get My Body Back Challenge!
We are excited to share this journey with you and invite you to share TNH Get My Body Back Challenge with your friends and family. Since this is an online format we have folks participating from all around the world.
TNH's Get My Body Back allows you to set your mind/body/spirit goals where not just your word is on the line, but your $$$!!! Winners will have their registration fee donated to their charity of choice!

Our expert health and wellness volunteers are there to support you with inspiration and guidance so you reach your wellness goals! This is a self-directed program that utilizes our private online Get My Body Back Facebook page (GMBB6). You will get out of it what you put into it and can request as much or little support as you need!
What types of health goals?
While weight management might be the goal for some of the participants, the ‘Get My Body Back’ elective is so much more than that. Because "body" is about health, not just weight.
If you are committed to taking on your health & fitness to *your* next level between now and the end of the year, a GMBB6 goal could be as simple as drinking more water, meditating with daily consistency, cutting out sugar, making the time to stretch every morning, writing 20 minutes per day, fitting in working out x times/week even in a busy life... Our GMBB6 will provide the weekly support to powerfully complete 2018! *And your favorite charity will benefit when you succeed!
While you will absolutely get out of this what you put in, this does not need to be time consuming because if you have access to a computer you can participate in this elective from anywhere in the world! The added bonus is a series of contributing experts sharing their expertise daily in the private Facebook group.
